LDPE LEC 1969: Properties and Applications
Introduction to LEC 1969
AryaSasol Polymer Company has created LEC 1969, a specialized lightweight polyethylene for extrusion coating. It is the third company globally to produce this grade, following Sabic and Dow Chemical. Notably, this is the first time LEC 1969 has been produced in Iran, earning an Innovative Knowledge-Based Certificate.
Key Features of LEC 1969
LEC 1969 offers several benefits, including excellent melt stability and lightweight properties. It creates very thin coatings and provides strong melt tensile strength. Additionally, this material performs well at high speeds, up to 300 meters per minute. It also provides good edge stability, stretchability, and excellent adhesion.
LDPE LEC 1969 Material Properties
This material is highly resistant to moisture and water. It has low density, which makes it light and transparent. This combination of features makes it suitable for various applications. Furthermore, LEC 1969’s lightweight nature enhances its flexibility and durability in many processes.
Applications of LEC 1969
LEC 1969 is ideal for extrusion coating, lamination, flexible packaging, paper coating, cardboard coating, aluminum foil coating, and multi-layer packaging. It is also widely used for food packaging and plastic coatings. Thanks to its excellent properties, LEC 1969 delivers high-quality, durable products.
A Cost-Effective Solution
Before the production of LEC 1969, customers had to rely on similar products like Hanova from global markets. However, Arya Sasol’s local production now offers significant savings, helping reduce production costs for companies in the region. This new grade is an affordable and efficient alternative to imported materials.
Manufacturer
LEC 1969 is manufactured by AryaSasol Petrochemical Company. The company has successfully developed this high-performance material to meet the rising demand for advanced polyethylene in the local market.
