Description
HDPE 7700M – High Density Polyethylene PE100 Grade for Pipe Production
HDPE 7700M is a premium grade of High Density Polyethylene (HDPE), produced with bimodal technology and classified as PE100 (MRS 10.0). It is manufactured under the license of Mitsui, Japan at Ilam Petrochemical Complex.
Thanks to its excellent mechanical properties, outstanding crack resistance, and high processability, this grade is the best choice for producing potable water pipes, sewage pipes, corrugated pipes, and industrial pipes.
Key Features of HDPE 7700M
- High Density: 950 kg/m³ at 23°C
- Excellent Tensile Strength: Yield stress 24 MPa and fracture resistance above 29 MPa
- Flexibility & Long Service Life: Elongation at break over 500%
- Crack & Pressure Resistance: Over 1000 hours in ESCR test at 80°C
- Thermal Resistance: Vicat softening temperature 122°C
- Thermal Stability: OIT over 20 minutes at 210°C
Main Applications
This HDPE PE100 grade is widely used in major projects, including:
- Potable water pipe production
- Sewerage and drainage pipe production
