Description
Product Introduction: PVC E7544M
Produced by: Arvand Petrochemical
PVC E7544M is a high molecular weight polyvinyl chloride (PVC) homopolymer produced via the emulsion process. This resin is designed for plastisols with medium viscosity, exhibiting medium viscosity at low shear rates and a pseudo-dilatant behavior at high shear rates (with a plasticizer ratio of 40 to 60 PHR).
Key Technical Features:
Long shelf life and stable viscosity
Easy gelation without sedimentation
High abrasion resistance and good thermal stability
High filler tolerance and uniform particle size distribution
Compatible with various processing methods including:
Spread coating
Foam coatings
Wall coverings
Rotational molding
Slush molding
Dipping
Applications of PVC E7544M:
Production of thin transparent coatings and dense layers with good mechanical properties for products such as tarpaulins, raincoats, pool covers, and tablecloths
Use in wall coverings and backed vinyl flooring
Suitable for making bags, suitcases, conveyor belts, and textured foam coatings
Rheological Behavior and Processability:
this resin, with its specific viscosity behavior, is an excellent choice for producing plastisols that require a balance between flow during application and stability during storage. Its pseudo-dilatant behavior at high shear rates allows for more controlled spray patterns in fast coating processes, while the maintained viscosity at low shear rates helps prevent sedimentation of components and fillers during storage.
Final Product Quality:
Using PVC E7544M in the production of foamed parts or decorative coatings results in a smooth, pore-free appearance due to its very fine and uniform particle distribution. This feature is particularly important in applications requiring smooth surfaces, such as pool covers and abrasion-resistant flooring. Moreover, the resin’s high absorption capacity for plasticizers and fillers helps reduce final product cost without compromising quality.
Packaging and Storage Conditions for PVC E7544M:
PVC E7544M is available in 20 kg bags or in bulk. It should be stored in a dry place, away from direct sunlight, and preferably at temperatures below 50°C
