Description
Product Introduction: PVC E60
Product Name: PVC E60
Product Type: Emulsion Polyvinyl Chloride (Low Molecular Weight Homopolymer)
Manufacturer: Arvand Petrochemical
General Description
PVC E60 is a low molecular weight emulsion PVC homopolymer with a medium emulsifier content. This grade produces plastisols with low to medium viscosity across various shear rates and exhibits slightly pseudoplastic rheological behavior.
In formulations with low plasticizer content (40 to 60 phr), it performs efficiently. Due to its low molecular weight, it reduces the gelation and fusion temperature and can even replace copolymers in certain applications.
Key Features
Low K-Value (60): Enables fast fusion even at low temperatures
Suitable for fine-cell foams: When used with the appropriate kicker or blowing agent combination
Good thermal stability: Compatible with various stabilizers, especially organotin types
Compatible with high filler and low plasticizer formulations: Ideal for lightweight and economical applications
Excellent processability: Suitable for direct spread coating, transfer coating, and screen printing
Applications
Application Area | Details |
---|---|
CV Flooring | Back coat foaming layers with strong adhesion |
Wall and Decorative Coverings | Uniform texture and adhesion to heat-sensitive surfaces |
Carpet and Rug Backing | Chemically foamed layers with low fusion temperature and limited expansion |
Compact Coatings on Heat-Sensitive Fabrics | Maintains structural integrity without damaging the substrate |
