Third International Trade Exhibition with Eurasia (Eurasia Expo 2025)

The Third International Trade Exhibition with Eurasia (Eurasia Expo 2025) was held from February 21 to 24, 2025, at the Tehran International Permanent Fairground. This major event aimed to strengthen Iran’s economic and trade relations with the Eurasia Economic Union (EAEU) and introduce Iran’s industrial and commercial capacities to the markets of Eurasia.

Objectives and Achievements

Eurasia Expo 2025 pursued goals such as expanding trade cooperation, improving coordination of anti-sanctions measures, fostering interactions among trade delegations, and creating opportunities for joint investments. More than 230 companies from Iran and Eurasia member states participated, with hundreds of negotiations and expert panels covering various economic fields.

Key Themes

The core themes of Eurasia Expo 2025 included oil, gas, petrochemicals, chemicals, automobiles and spare parts, construction, agriculture and food products, paints and resins, tourism, healthcare, pharmaceuticals, banking, insurance, export guarantee funds, knowledge-based industries, modern technologies, and transportation (rail, sea, road, air).

Side Programs and Meetings

Specialized panels and sessions were held on the sidelines, such as discussions on the Free Trade Agreement between Iran and the Eurasia Economic Union, banking and insurance sessions, logistics and transport panels, and B2B meetings with various member states of Eurasia.

Iran’s Role in the Eurasia Economic Union

The Eurasia Economic Union, established in 2015, includes Russia, Kazakhstan, Belarus, Armenia, and Kyrgyzstan. Iran is recognized as an important trading partner, and events like Eurasia Expo 2025 are vital for strengthening economic and trade relations between Iran and the Eurasia member states.

Organizers and Support

The exhibition was organized by Pars Karen Trade Management Company with the support of the Iran Trade Promotion Organization. Official supporters included the Tehran Chamber of Commerce, Industries, Mines and Agriculture, along with various governmental and private institutions.

The Eurasia Expo 2025 served as an excellent platform for introducing Iran’s commercial and industrial capacities to the Eurasia market and creating new opportunities for joint cooperation across different economic sectors.
