Kazakhstan Trade Delegation in Iran – February 2025

From February 15 to 17, 2025, a 59-member delegation of Kazakh economic and business representatives traveled to Tehran. The visit was supported by the Kazakhstan Center for Trade Policy Development and hosted by the Tehran Chamber of Commerce, the Iran-Kazakhstan Joint Chamber of Commerce, the International Affairs Office, and the Trade Promotion Organization of Iran.

Our company, a leading supplier of polyethylene( HDPE , LDPE) and other polymer raw materials, and petrochemical products from major Iranian petrochemical plants, was officially invited by the Iran Chamber of Commerce to participate in this strategic event. The CEO of our company attended high-level sessions and engaged in direct negotiations with Kazakh business representatives to explore opportunities for exporting polyethylene grades such as HDPE PE100, HDPE 52505 UV, and other polymer raw materials to Kazakhstan’s manufacturing industries.

The Kazakh delegation represented a wide range of industries, including agricultural and food products such as vegetables, oils and oilseeds, beverages, dairy products, rice, legumes, red meat, trout, honey, pasta, spices, snacks, and animal feed, as well as industrial and consumer goods such as polyethylene, paints, resins, metals, chemical products and lubricants, medical equipment, construction materials and transportation, textiles, and automotive products.

During the visit, events such as a business forum and B2B meetings were held, aiming to expand trade interactions, identify joint export opportunities, and develop long-term bilateral cooperation. Our discussions focused on leveraging Iran’s competitive advantages in polyethylene and petrochemical products to strengthen supply chains for Kazakh manufacturers and support regional industrial growth.

This initiative reflects the strategic importance of developing trade relations between Iran and Kazakhstan, fostering mutual market access, and promoting sustainable economic growth in the region.
